A simply fantastic day! With simply Stunning views over Blea Tarn and Coniston Estate!
We will start the day heading over to Coniston, where the beautiful 'Yew Tree Tarn' lies...it is known to be one of the most photographed Tarns in the Lake District...a photographers dream you might say! It has an atmosphere that cant be described and happens to be one of my most favorite places to not only photograph but to spend time at. Well worth a visit!
This is a perfect chance to get to grips with your own Camera, either making that leap from automatic settings to manual mode, or improving your own photographic skills. Learn about creative composition, texture, detail and light.
Following on from 'Yew Tree Tarn' , we will continue our route on foot, deeper into the glorious Estate, finally making our way to the simply stunning Woodland. There is an abundance of photographic opportunity, allow yourself to be creatively immersed in this wonderful surrounding area.
The group will then pause for lunch, this will be at a nearby pub/cafe.
After Lunch we will finally make our way over to Blea Tarn, with views over the Langdale pikes this really is a beautiful little place! A small wooden bridge leads up to a wonderful small woodland made up of Larch, Scots pine and sliver birch. A quiet undisturbed place, perfect for personal reflection and creative connection!
During the Workshop, there will be ample time to ask any questions you may have, all workshops are incredibly informal and friendly with the emphasis on not only learning, but also enjoying the day! Places are strictly kept to a minimum, allowing for each individual to get the most out of the experience.
